Lockheed Martin maintains three distinct, highly specialized facilities within the section's boundaries:

Niagara Falls: Home to Lockheed Martin's Gravity Systems business unit. This highly specialized team designs, integrates, and tests complex gravity gradiometer instruments used for sophisticated submarine navigation, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

Owego: Part of the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) division, the Owego facility is a premier site for the integration of complex helicopter avionics, electronic warfare systems, and airborne precision targeting capabilities.

Syracuse: The Syracuse site specializes in the design and production of advanced ground-based and naval radar, sonar systems, and comprehensive electronic warfare sensors, forming a critical node in Lockheed Martin's sensor systems portfolio.

The Northrop Grumman facility in Amherst, New York (formerly Amherst Systems), is a critical center for the company's Mission Systems sector. Fort Erie: Home to Airbus Helicopters Canada.
